My Volvo makes a pop, pop noise when turning Left or Right

Generally, A CONSISTENT popping noise that can be heard when turning hard left or hard right can be identified as a Constant Velocity Joint failure. Be sure that when trying to diagnose this that the noise is consistent or a continuous pop! This means that the shell or housing that supports the Balls in the CV joint has broken or has excessive wear!
Another possible cause if you hear a rattle and the front of the car wobbles is a bad front strut.
Volvo cars do not have replaceable CV joints. If the joint is bad, the axle shaft has to be replaced.
