Volvo Cruise Control Failures

The most common cruise control failures on Volvo cars are:
1. Pedals switch failures.
The pedal switch can become mis-adjusted or the ears get broken of.
Both problems can result in a no contact condition.
2. The cruise control vacuum line cracks (on cars with vacuum controlled systems).
3. Cruise Control module failures.
